Dear Friends,

I'd like to bring you up to date on some very important news about the future of Willow House. Since I was first introduced to our company in 2001, originally founded as Southern Living at Home, it was based upon upscale design, quality and value. When our founders, Bill and Robin Shaw, purchased the company in 2010 the name was changed to Willow House since Southern Living magazine is still a proprietary name. The company’s namesake, Willow, is based upon strong roots like our company’s foundation in design. Also like the Willow, we sway with the trends of the industry so that we can remain a strong company providing you with top quality items at a great value.

We are taking a new path as we head into 2013. A year ago, we introduced our designer jewelry division with Sara Blaine and it has been going extremely well. Unfortunately, the home decor division has been dropping over the past couple of years and we found that the majority of orders were coming through our online stores as opposed to home parties. Although home parties and personal hospitality are the core elements of our company, most people were okay with placing a few orders here and there through our website and it hasn't been enough to sustain the necessary income that many of our consultants need or desire to run their business. That is something that is extremely important to our company founders - to provide an opportunity for consultants to earn a consistent income while providing relevant products for our customers.

*

So the most difficult decision was just made to phase out the home decor division over the next several months. We will continue to build up the designer jewelry division and move forward with plans to launch another division later next year that would provide additional options for consultants who wanted to grow their Willow House business without needing to leave for a different product line. While we haven’t revealed specifics yet about the new product division, it will definitely be under our umbrella of Simply Good Design.

Although I am so sad to be phasing out our home decor products, it will not happen overnight. We have about $30 million worth of inventory available to sell! You can still host a traditional party or online party with host benefits through December. As of January, décor will be available exclusively through my online store to complete your wish list and take advantage of incredible price reductions. But don’t hesitate – once items are sold out, they will be gone for good! I want you to know that I am grateful that our company leaders were transparent enough to give us lead time to continue selling these fabulous décor items through next summer and to have the foresight to launch a designer jewelry division with such a talented woman so that our business can remain profitable and continue to grow. As we are in the process of liquidating our home decor inventory, special clearance sales will be noted on my Facebook page for quickest communication. You are invited to

Please keep me in mind as you're looking to complete your collections, shop for gifts and add to your home decor. And I'd also love the opportunity to share our designer jewelry collections with you. Sara Blaine sells her unique designs in select high-end jewelry boutiques around the country and has created several special collections just for Willow House at a price point that offers a very strong value. Her designs include freshwater pearls, authentic semi-precious gemstones, sterling silver, gold vermeil and other mixed metals. This is not costume jewelry, but rather it is keepsake designer jewelry, and Willow House is the first to bring this unique purchasing opportunity to you.

I am proud to represent Willow House, both with the heritage of our retiring décor division and our new Jewelry by Sara Blaine division. I hope that I can serve you in the best way possible over these next few transitioning months and long into the future. Thank you for your loyalty and your support of my business.

As always, wishing you Simply Good Design from my home to yours,

*
